Clinical Practice and Preceptorship Program Held in Singapore

Pharmacy practitioners and preceptors involved in the training of pharmacy students and residents at more than 10 health care institutions around Singapore gathered at the National University of Singapore (NUS) to take part in ACCP’s Clinical Practice and Preceptorship Program.

Designed for clinical pharmacists and pharmacy educators involved in the education and training of pharmacy students and residents, this 3-day program aimed to impart knowledge and enhance the skills necessary for participants to effectively advance teaching, practice, and scholarly activities.

Held May 22–24, 2014, this was the first of a series of programs to be offered between 2014 and 2017 in agreement with the Department of Pharmacy at NUS, with input from the Ministry of Health’s Chief Pharmacist’s Office, to support efforts to advance the professional development of Singaporean clinical pharmacy practitioners and educators.
