Welcome to ACCP and ASHP’s 2015 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course

The American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are pleased to announce the increasingly popular 2015 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course. Members of ACCP, ASHP, and the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) may register for this course at the discounted member rate.

The 2015 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course will be held April 30 – May 2, 2015 in Dallas, Texas and will offer 22.75 contact hours of live continuing pharmacy education credit. The course is designed to assist the experienced clinician in identifying knowledge gaps in the various content domains covered on the BPS board examination and assumes the learner meets the eligibility requirements to sit for the BPS specialty examination. This course was revamped in 2014 to incorporate symptom management topics within disease state presentations whenever possible to mimic BPS exam questions and real-world scenarios. The fall examination is scheduled to be administered in September and October of 2015.

The Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course is approved by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties for recertification credit for Board Certified Oncology Pharmacists (BCOP). This course is an excellent way for the BCOP to get updates on a broad array of oncology topics. For more information on the approved recertification program, visit http://www.accp.com/careers/boardbcop.aspx.
