Welcome to ACCP's 2008 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review Course
The American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are pleased to announce the 2008 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review Course. Members of ACCP, ASHP, and the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) may register for this course at the discounted member rate.
Accredited for 20.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, the course will be offered May 1-3 in Tampa, Florida. The Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review Course is designed to help oncology pharmacy practitioners prepare for the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Certification Examination. This examination is scheduled to be administered on October 4, 2008. The course is also an excellent review for oncology practitioners who seek to remain current in all aspects of their practice area, as well as for pharmacists interested in oncology.

Course Content Based on BPS Examination
Course content is based on the BPS domains and knowledge areas that attendees will be tested on during the examination. Topics and scheduled times have been proportioned according to domains and knowledge area emphasis. Core topics will be discussed during lecture presentations. Breakout sessions will be offered to individualize your coursework.
As a participant, you will receive a detailed workbook to aid in your preparation for the examination. Filled with patient cases and practice-based self-assessment questions, the course offers an excellent opportunity to assess your knowledge in multiple areas of oncology practice.
