Biography
Judith L. Kristeller, Pharm.D., BCPS
Dr. Judith Kristeller received her Pharm.D. at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1992 and completed a critical care residency at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, in 1998. After her residency, she maintained a critical care practice site at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, New York. She is currently an associate professor, School of Pharmacy, at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She recently published a chapter in the sixth edition of PSAP titled, “Endocrine Syndromes in the ICU.” Her interest in clinical research primarily involves cardiac surgery patients. She recently published one clinical trial and one review article on the use of aprotinin in cardiac surgery patients. Currently, she is the primary investigator of a trial evaluating the effect of intravenous hydration on preventing acute kidney injury in cardiac surgery patients with underlying kidney disease. Dr. Kristeller has served as a faculty member for the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Updates in Therapeutics: The Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review Course since 2008.
