Plan now to attend ACCP Academy programming at the 2012 ACCP Annual Meeting, October 21–24, in Hollywood, Florida. The foundational prerequisite course for the Teaching and Learning program, Basic Training, and the Career Advancement program—the Career Advancement Primer—will be offered as premeeting symposia on Saturday, October 20. Also offered during the premeeting symposia is a required course for the Research and Scholarship program, Regulatory/Ethical Issues. A separate registration fee is required to attend the presymposia sessions.
Additional programming will be presented throughout the Annual Meeting for each Academy track, including the fourth track, Leadership and Management. Academy programming presented during the Annual Meeting, October 21–24, is included in the Annual Meeting registration fee.
The ACCP Academy provides four unique professional development programs leading to certificates of completion in Career Advancement, Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning. ACCP Academy programming will include both required modules and elective courses, according to preestablished course schedules. An abbreviated schedule of Academy programming, both presymposia and programming embedded within the Annual Meeting, is summarized below.
