We offer broad-based residency experiences in a community hospital setting. Rotations are provided in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology/critical care, pediatics/NICU, inpatient and ambulatory oncology, pharmacist-run warfarin clinic, administration, and more. The residency will develop skilled practitioners, able to function in diverse environments as a healthcare team member. Opportunities exist to enhance teaching and leadership skills through university affiliation and a teaching certificate program. Completion of a residency project is required. The Yakima Valley offers tremendous quality of life with over 300 days of sunshine each year and an abundance of outdoor recreational activities including skiing, hiking, camping, biking, hunting, and fishing.
