The Residency in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Centers provides twelve months of training in all aspects of advanced pharmacy practice. The program offers flexibility, which allows the residency to be tailored to the specific needs of the individual. The University of Washington is an integral part of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) along with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Children's Medical Center. The medical centers along with the SCCA are the primary teaching sites for the UW School of Pharmacy. Together, the three institutions foster an atmosphere for extensive, collaborative research.
