Virginia Mason Medical Center is an integrated health care system, with patient care, teaching and research focus. Patient care areas are acute care (critical care, oncology, renal transplant) and ambulatory care (primary care, endocrinology, anticoagulation, medication therapy management, hyperlipidemia). The Pharmacy Practice Residency is an ASHP-accredited program designed to provide pharmacists with clinical and administrative expertise in all aspects of pharmacy practice in acute care and ambulatory care settings. Month-long required rotations, elective rotations, and longitudinal experiences provide structure and guidance, but also flexibility to individualize your training in a progressive practice environment.
