The residency program is affiliated with Idaho State University. It offers outstanding clinical practice opportunities with a rural family medicine physician training program. Pocatello Family Medicine clinic where the pharmacy residency program resides is also home to clinical research center with NIH-sponsored clinical trials and HIV program serving 80+ patients. The resident will participate in patient care activities in the inpatient and ambulatory settings, quality assurance and drug utilization projects, didactic teaching of pharmacy, physician assistant, and medical residents. Pocatello is located approximately 150 miles north of Salt Lake City. Some of the nation’s best skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing areas are nearby.
