Program Overview
Understanding biostatistics is paramount for clinical pharmacists regardless of the practice setting. Biostatistics for Clinicians and Researchers is a diverse program presented in two parts and designed to meet the needs of the beginning biostatistician as well as those actively involved in the clinical or research settings.
Part I: Biostatistics Review and Primer introduces the basic principles of biostatistics and is intended for those who are in the process of learning biostatistical applications or for those who desire a refresher course. Types of data, descriptive statistics, statistical tests, and regression and correlation analysis comprise the core curriculum.
Part II: Implementing Biostatistical Applications in Research and Clinical Practice introduces a comprehensive and practical approach for the implementation of biostatistical principles in clinical trial design, pharmacoeconomics, and in evaluating drug literature. |
