2023 ACCP Annual Meeting: Keynote Speaker Update & Your Feedback in Action

Your voices have been heard. In light of the feedback and concerns expressed by many of you regarding the choice for the 2023 ACCP Annual Meeting Keynote Address, the Board of Regents acted on October 11 to rescind the invitation to Dr. Vinay Prasad to serve as the Annual Meeting’s Keynote speaker.

It's important to clarify that while the Board was not involved in the selection of Dr. Prasad, it took member concerns to heart and, after thoughtful deliberation, made the decision to rescind the invitation.

The College is steadfast in its commitment to remain a member-driven organization. The board will be revisiting the keynote speaker vetting and selection process to ensure alignment with the expectations and values of ACCP members.
