Practitioner/Faculty Recruiter Frequently Asked Questions

Q:     Do I have to register for the 2023 Annual Meeting?

A:     Yes. Participation in ACCP’s Professional Placement Forum requires Annual Meeting Registration.

Q:     What is included with my Professional Placement Forum registration?

A:     Registration will provide you with an event position listing, access to our candidate database, and a meeting schedule for your selected PPF timeslot on Sunday, November 12, 8:30-11am or Monday, November 13, 8:30-11am. Additional timeslots can be purchased for meetings on Monday afternoon. To facilitate the ease of scheduled meetings, candidates will be able to sign up for a 30 minute slot.

Q:     When are my appointment-based meetings with candidates?

A:    . Your individual schedule will be created to include candidate meetings at 30-minute intervals during your PPF timeslot(s).

Q:     How should my institution prepare for the Professional Placement Forum?

A:     We encourage you to search the candidate database and contact candidates of interest. You can include your institution’s PPF timeslot and a link to your position listing – this will allow candidates to select from available meeting timeslots.

Q:     Do I meet with candidates one-on-one?

A:     Your PPF table (6 foot, rectangular) includes 4 chairs and you can have up to 2 recruiters/table. Your position’s default meeting schedule will include appointment slots for 1 candidate every 30 minutes.

Q:     When and where will I meet with candidates?

A:     You will receive your room and table assignment during the week of October 30. A room map and numbered table stanchions will be available to allow for easy navigation of the space. Sorry, the space cannot accommodate additional signage or banners.
