Q:

Do I have to be an ACCP member to participate?

A:

No. The SNPhA x ACCP Residency and Fellowship Showcase is available to anyone looking to recruit for a pharmacy postgraduate training position. Event registration is free and includes access to the event’s candidate database, unlimited position listings, and participation in the virtual Showcase event on October 24 or 26. An unlimited number of recruiters can participate in recruitment for each registered program. The event is designed primarily for first year programs (residency and fellowship) and current trainees are encouraged to participate as recruiters.

Q:

What is included with my Virtual Recruitment Event registration?

A:

Event registration includes an event position listing, participation for one hour in the Residency and Fellowship Showcase on October 24 or October 26, and access to the event’s candidate database. An unlimited number of recruiters can participate in recruitment for each registered program. To facilitate a streamlined, low-stress event, as a registered recruiter you will use your own virtual meeting platform/link. New this year, position listings allow for inclusion of a link to a pre-recorded informational video (optional). To facilitate an efficient and effective experience for you, your one-hour booth time is set up in 4, 15-minute increments. Candidates are required to sign up for a 15-minute timeslot to attend your virtual showcase booth. We hope this structure will allow you to plan ahead for staffing the booth and will limit the number of candidates entering and leaving at random times.

When is the Residency and Fellowship Showcase?

A:

There will be two sessions - Tuesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 26. You will select a one-hour timeslot between 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm CDT. There are a limited number of programs participating in each timeslot so sign up early!

How does the Residency and Fellowship Showcase work?

A:

Once registered, you will select your preferred date(s) and time(s) as you complete your position listing(s). As you enter each position listing, you will have an opportunity to select participating recruiters. This selection will give those individuals access to position listing(s) and the candidate database. Within the position listing, you will provide a link to a virtual meeting room, using your own virtual meeting platform. You will also have the option of entering a link to a pre-recorded informational video. You can access your event schedule once one or more candidates have signed up. During your selected timeslot, candidates who have signed up will access the videoconference link that you have provided. You may wish to implement a waiting room (if available in your program), to facilitate organized candidate entry. An unlimited number of recruiters can participate in your program’s showcase. You may wish to create small group breakout (or similar) rooms with current residents/fellows and/or the program director.

Q:

When and where will I meet with candidates?

A:

To facilitate a comfortable and streamlined experience, you will use your own virtual meeting program for candidate meetings. Virtual meeting program links will be included in your position listing.
