Position Description
East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in collaboration with the Quillen College of Medicine Department of Family Medicine. This position is for a clinical-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Essential Functions: The successful applicant will teach in the didactic curriculum, mentor students in the professional experiential program, serve as a preceptor for PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents, contribute to the scholarly pursuits of the department and participate in regional/national presentations. The faculty member will provide collaborative patient care in the ETSU Family Medicine Clinic in Bristol, TN. Faculty members are also expected to provide service to the college, the university, and broader professional community.

Qualifications: PharmD and a PGY 2 ASHP-accredit Ambulatory Care Residency or equivalent experience. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in clinical practice and have a strong desire for teaching and scholarship in an academic environment. Candidates must be eligible for a Tennessee Pharmacist license.

The Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is part of the Academic Health Sciences Center of ETSU, which also includes the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, and Clinical and Rehabilitative Sciences.
