Position Description
OU Medical Center, including The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center is Oklahoma's largest and most comprehensive hospital. Additionally, we are Oklahoma’s only Level One Trauma Center. It is located in the heart of Oklahoma City, just minutes from beautiful Bricktown, the up and coming Mid-town area and the State Capital. We provide a full range of hospital services for every patient, from the smallest neonate to the most critically ill senior.

The critical care clinical specialist’s responsibilities will be providing comprehensive pharmacy care for the adult intensive care units (CVICU, MICU, NeuroICU and Trauma ICU). This includes but is not limited to participating in daily interdisciplinary ICU rounds, developing drug therapy protocols, participating in Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, coordinating quality assurance audits, and conducting drug utilization reviews.

Qualified candidates must have a Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited institution with a PGY2 residency , fellowship or equivalent experience in critical care. Board certification is preferred.
