Position Description
Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Acute Care

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Western New England University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in the area of Internal Medicine at the Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor level. This 12-month position offers an excellent opportunity to become a dynamic member of an integrated and innovative learner-centered academic program. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching, practice, and scholarship.
The position is available July 1, 2020.. Review of applications will also begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.

Qualified individuals must have a Doctor Pharmacy degree from a pharmacy program accredited by and in good standing with the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education, and either have a pharmacy license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or be eligible for same with licensure expected within the first 6 months of employment. Board certification in a pharmacy specialty and prior teaching experience at a school or college of pharmacy are desirable. The successful candidate will be required to conduct practice site development and maintenance; provide direct patient-centered care; teach in area of expertise; precept learners; conduct scholarly activity; and perform service to the College/University, community and clinical site.
