Position Description
The University of South College of Pharmacy (UofSC COP) is recruiting for a non-tenure track, clinical faculty position in hematology/oncology at the Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate level. Located in beautiful Columbia, SC, the UofSC COP has recently celebrated over 150 years of pharmacy education. The UofSC COP maintains a formal partnership with Prisma Health Midlands (formerly Palmetto Health), a multi-hospital system that serves as home for interprofessional healthcare training, well-established pharmacy residency programs, and a practice site for numerous COP clinical faculty. The faculty member would provide inpatient hematology/oncology services in a teaching hospital environment with the opportunity to collaborate with local providers, including the South Carolina Oncology Associates (SCOA).
Clinical faculty are expected to participate in didactic and experiential teaching, research activity evidenced by scholarly deliverables, and service to both the college and professional organizations.

Qualifications at the time of hire:

- Hold a professional degree in pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited College/School of Pharmacy

- Have completed a PGY-2 residency or fellowship or have equivalent years of experience in the discipline

- Be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in the state of South Carolina

- Be a board-certified oncology pharmacist, or seeking board certification in the future
