2018 Global Conference on Clinical Pharmacy to Be Held in Seattle

Clinical pharmacists, pharmacy leaders, and other stakeholders in the profession will convene at the 2018 ACCP Global Conference on Clinical Pharmacy, which will take place October 20–23 in Seattle, Washington.

International programming delivered by speakers from across the globe will bring to light the current status of, challenges in, and innovative approaches to advancing clinical pharmacy education, pharmacy residency training programs, and clinical practice services delivered by pharmacists. Sessions will highlight unique local and regional regulatory issues and models of practice developed to integrate pharmacists into health care teams, delivering highly needed services that improve patient care and outcomes. Leaders from key professional organizations will provide updates and discuss opportunities for the education, training, and credentialing of the clinical pharmacy workforce worldwide.

Researchers and scholars interested in showcasing their work and discussing their findings with an international audience are encouraged to submit their abstracts by June 15 (July 15 is the deadline for submitting abstracts in the Research-in-Progress category). Descriptions of the abstract categories, evaluation criteria, and submission instructions are available at www.accp.com/abstracts/2018abstracts.

In addition to the high-quality educational sessions and expert exchanges on research to be presented at the conference’s poster sessions, networking opportunities with colleagues and profession leaders from across the globe will be afforded throughout the conference.
