A Message from the Editor

Dear Colleagues:

The articles featured in this issue of the ACCP International Clinical Pharmacist relate to the professional needs of pharmacists practicing and advancing clinical pharmacy practice around the world.

The issue highlights two high-quality ACCP international programs that will be offered live in the Middle East and Asia. In keeping with ACCP’s mission, the programs described in the articles titled “International Symposium Tackles Clinical Pharmacist Services and Outcomes on Patient Care Services” and “ACCP’s 2017 Pharmacotherapy Program to Be Offered in Taiwan” have been designed to expand the scope and quality of clinical pharmacy services across health systems and to advance pharmacists’ pharmacotherapy knowledge and clinical skills.

Advanced-level clinical pharmacists caring for patients with renal or pulmonary disorders in the acute care setting will find the title featured in the Book Highlights department, Renal/Pulmonary Critical Care, a great resource for their continuing education. The book offers concise reviews of contemporary and controversial topics of importance for the provision of safe and effective care.

Finally, ACCP will be exhibiting at the upcoming FIP Congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea. If you are attending the congress, I hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Wafa Y. Dahdal, Pharm.D., BCPS
