CCSAP offers high-quality content. Chapters provide graphic features highlighting pivotal studies, patient care scenarios, and take-home points for integration into clinical practice. Fully referenced, the chapters include hypertext links to clinical practice guidelines and select resources as well as to literature compilers such as PubMed for ready access to key studies on the subject matter. Each chapter includes application-based self-assessment questions designed to assess the learner’s mastery and application of knowledge gained to patient care and practice scenarios. A sample chapter on acute kidney injury is available at www.accp.com/docs/bookstore/ccsap/c17b2_sample.pdf.
