HIV and Hepatitis
HIV and Hepatitis is the inaugural title in the Infectious Diseases Self-Assessment Program (IDSAP). Released May 15, 2019, the book offers a total of 15.0 hours of continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit divided into three modules as follows:
- Module 1: HIV (6.0 CPE credit hours)
- HIV Pharmacotherapy
- Prevention of HIV Infection
- Opportunistic Infections in the Patient with HIV
- Module 2: Hepatitis (5.0 CPE credit hours)
- Hepatitis A, B, and D
- Hepatitis C Virus Infection
- Module 3: HIV and Hepatitis (e-module, 4.0 CPE credit hours)
- HIV and HCV Drug Interactions (interactive case)
- Promoting HIV/HCV Clinical Pharmacy Services via Telemedicine (recorded webcast)
Board Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (BCIDPs) interested in completing the learning activities offered in HIV and Hepatitis for specialty recertification credit must successfully complete the web-based test by November 15, 2019. Pharmacists seeking CPE credit must successfully complete the test by May 14, 2022.
