There are several categories of abstracts eligible for presentation at ACCP national meetings or through virtual poster sessions. For those participating in the Research and Scholarship Academy, original research is required for certification. This session will review the criteria for original research abstracts and discuss common pitfalls to avoid when submitting your abstract. Examples of abstracts will be examined, scored using original research criteria and discussed. By the end of the session, the participant will have applied the review criteria for original research to sample abstracts and be prepared to apply these criteria to individual research projects for certification.

To receive credit toward a certificate of completion, participants must be enrolled in the ACCP Academy and sign the sign-in sheet provided during the session. For those enrolled in the ACCP Academy, this module must be completed before subsequent programming.
