Andrea Franks, Pharm.D., BCPS, is professor and vice chair for education in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science at the University of Tennessee (UT) Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. She is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the UT Graduate School of Medicine, and her clinical practice, teaching, and research site is in family medicine at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.Dr. Franks teaches throughout the Pharm.D. curriculum for three campuses and serves as a preceptor for Pharm.D. students and UT Medical Center pharmacy residents. Dr. Franks has presented local, regional, and national workshops and lectures regarding teaching and learning and is certified as a Team-Based Learning Trainer-Consultant.
