2019 Developing Effective Test-Taking Skills Webinar

Join ACCP for an interactive webinar about test-taking skills and board certification. This webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CDT)

This webinar will focus on how standardized tests are written and constructed, developing appropriate techniques for answering standardized questions more accurately, identifying common issues in testing that may be hurting your performance, and how analyzing your testing performance to improve accuracy, pacing, and endurance. This workshop is designed for clinical pharmacists preparing to take any of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties examinations as well as for faculty members interested in learning more about standardized test development.

This online workshop will be presented by Martin and Jane Jolley, nationally recognized experts in standardized exam preparation, who have been helping residents and students review and prepare for Medical Licensure Examinations for over 40 years. More than 5000 residents and students have taken their courses with a success rate well above 90%. The Jolleys have assisted residents and medical students in a variety of therapeutic areas, and they have worked and developed programming for the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of California at San Francisco, Davis, and Los Angeles.

Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit

The American College of Clinical Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The Universal Activity Number is 0217-9999-19-143-L04-P (2.0 hours). This is an application-based activity.

To receive continuing education credit, attendees must register for the Developing Effective Test-Taking Skills Webinar and successfully log on to the webinar software on June 19, 2019. Statements of credit will be available at via CPE Monitor approximately two business days after the completion of the meeting. Please note, continuing education credit is not available for the recordings of this activity.

Hardware and Software Requirements

To access the webinar by a computer, you will need broadband Internet access, an updated Internet browser, Adobe Flash Player, and speakers or headphones for audio. To access the webinar on a Wi-Fi enabled mobile device, you will need a wireless internet connection and the Adobe Connect App free from Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Registration Fees

The cost for participation is only $110 for ACCP/ASHP members, and $160 for ACCP/ASHP nonmembers and ACCP Affiliate members. However, participation in the webinar is limited to 400 registrants, so register now. Registration closes at midnight central time, June 18, 2019.

Cancellation Policy

An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for registrations cancelled on or before June 11, 2019. Requests for cancellation must be sent in writing to ACCP (fax: [913] 492-0088). Registration fees cannot be refunded after June 11, 2019.
