The target audience for Updates Plus in Critical Care is the pharmacist preparing for the fall administration of the BPS Critical Care Pharmacy specialty certification examination, for Board-certified Critical Care Pharmacists (BCCCPs) looking to earn recertification credit, and those seeking a review of the latest guidelines and therapeutic updates as they relate to the Critical Care Pharmacy examination content outline.

Continuing Education Credit/Recertification Credit


The American College of Clinical Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The 2019 Updates Plus in Critical Webinar will provide one session with 2.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit or 2.0 hours of BCCCP recertification credit. To receive continuing pharmacy education credit, attendees must register for the 2019 Updates Plus in Critical Care Pharmacy Webinar and successfully log on to the webinar software during the presentation. To earn home-study credit for this activity the participant must view the webinar recording and earn a passing score on the posttest. Statements of credit will be available via CPE Monitor within 2-3 business days of the completion of the activity.

Recertification Credit

To be eligible for 2.0 CPE hours of recertification credit, BCCCPs must successfully complete a Web-based posttest by May 20, 2020. Partial credit is not available for this activity.

Registration Fees

Registration is only $69.95 for anyone who attended the ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2019 live course or purchased an ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2019 product. The cost is $89.95 for all other ACCP members and, $129.95 for nonmembers. “Seats” are limited, so sign up early by clicking here!

Cancellation Policy

An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for registrations cancelled on or before November 19, 2019. Requests for cancellation must be sent in writing to ACCP (fax: [913] 492-0088). Registration fees cannot be refunded after November 19, 2019. The registration deadline is at midnight, CDT, November 19, 2019.

Hardware and Software Requirements

To access the webinars by a computer, you will need broadband Internet access, an updated Internet browser, Adobe Flash Player, and speakers or headphones for audio. To access the webinars on a Wi-Fi enabled mobile device, you will need a wireless internet connection and the Adobe Connect App, a free app which can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The recordings of the session will be made available December 2, 2019. Registrants who are unable to attend the programming presented will automatically have access the recordings of each presentation.
