Overview/Description:

This program will focus on tips and tools that preceptors, especially newer preceptors, can implement for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students. The program will outline techniques to assist with prevention of challenging scenarios, while also emphasizing strategies to manage difficult student situations. Utilizing case examples, the program will allow participants to identify difficult APPE learning situations and provide strategies to overcome those situations.

Objectives:

1. Identify methods to promote an organized advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE).
2. Describe techniques and tools for providing feedback to students who are in need of improvement on APPEs.
3. Develop potential strategies to overcome challenging APPE learning situations.

Cancellation Policy
