ACCP Authors Issue Brief on Comprehensive Medication Management for Substance Use Disorder in the Addiction Recovery Medical Home

The Alliance for Addiction Payment Reform released an issue brief, authored by ACCP members, on coordinated and comprehensive medication management of substance use disorder. The purpose of the brief is to advance the adoption and implementation of comprehensive medication management (CMM) in the Addiction Recovery Medical Home, an alternative payment model for the treatment of addiction and substance use disorder. The Alliance has previously highlighted clinical pharmacists as members of the care team in this coordinated model as described in their white paper.

About the Alliance for Addiction Payment Reform

The Alliance for Addiction Payment Reform (the Alliance) is a national multi-sector alliance of health care industry leaders – including payers, health systems, and subject matter experts – dedicated to aligning incentives and establishing a structure that promotes the type of integration and patient care capable of producing improved outcomes for patients, payers, and health systems.
