IDSA Releases Guidelines on the Treatment and Management of Patients with COVID-19 Infection

The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) released today new treatment recommendations for patients with COVID-19. IDSA formed a multidisciplinary guideline panel of infectious disease clinicians, clinical pharmacists, and methodologists with varied areas of expertise to develop the guidelines. The panel agreed on 7 treatment recommendations and provides narrative summaries of other treatments undergoing evaluations.
