The Global Health PRN leadership is working with ACCP to establish a memorial honoring the memory and professional contributions of Renee M. Holder, Pharm.D., BCPS, CPE. Holder launched and organized the effort to establish the PRN, which was founded in 2014. She stepped down as Global Health PRN chair in late August, shortly before her death on September 28, 2016.

Holder was an active ACCP member who joined the College as a student member. In addition to her service to the Global Health PRN, she served on the 2016 ACCP Clinical Pharmacy Challenge Item-Author Committee and the 2015–2016 ACCP Organizational Affairs Committee. She also has been a member of the Adult Medicine, Critical Care, Education and Training, Infectious Diseases, and Pain and Palliative Care PRNs.

The leaders of the Global Health PRN are exploring the establishment of a memorial fund to honor Holder. Further information about this initiative will be shared with Global Health PRN members as it becomes available later this year.
