Clinical Reasoning Series in Pharmacotherapy Now Available for Home Study

Earn recertification and/or continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit in Pharmacotherapy through the ACCP Clinical Reasoning Series home study edition. This series delivers programs that meaningfully advance pharmacy specialists’ knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment in various topics. Topic selection for the program reflects timely, relevant, and valuable content to the practice of Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialists (BCPSs). This Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS)-approved professional development program for home study consists of four application-based activities and up to 6.0 hours of CPE and/or recertification credit. Each activity includes online streaming presentations, downloadable mp3 audio and mp4 video files, downloadable PDF presentation slides, and web-based posttests (for recertification).

The four-part series in 2024 consists of Contemporary Weight Management – The Pharmacist’s Role; New Considerations in Diabetes Management: The Role of Continuous Glucose Monitors & the Risk of Euglycemic Diabetic Ketoacidosis (eDKA); Management of Infectious Disease in Immigrant and Refugee Populations; and Beyond Endocarditis: Management of Cardiac Infections.

This BCPS Clinical Reasoning Series home study edition is available for BPS credit through November 6, 2025. CPE credit for this home study edition is available through October 15, 2027.
