Faculty Position
Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Department of Pharmacy Practice, Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, is recruiting a 12-month tenure-track faculty member. The faculty member will serve as a researcher, educator, and facilitator for the Purdue University Medication Safety Initiative, a program focused on the identification and reduction of medication-related errors in the health care setting with an emphasis on community pharmacy practice. Required qualifications include either a Pharm.D. degree or a bachelor’s degree plus a graduate degree (e.g., Ph.D.), one of which must be in a pharmacy-related discipline. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience. The faculty member will be expected to research, identify, develop, and implement best practices for medication safety and adverse drug event management through scholarly activity, in collaboration with other related disciplines.
