Mark your calendar for the ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2019 meeting, to be held April 27–28 at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri. Registration is now available at www.updatesintherapeutics.com.

ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2019 will offer three meetings in one, with (1) ACCP’s nationally recognized and proven preparatory review courses in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care; (2) ACCP’s Academy programming highlighting best practices in Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning; and (3) ACCP’s popular Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum.

Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care
ACCP’s preparatory review and recertification courses are designed for pharmacy professionals who are preparing for the specialty certification examinations administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), for specialists seeking recertification through continuing education, and for those seeking a self-paced refresher of pharmacotherapeutic management of specialty-specific conditions and contemporary clinical practice topics.

ACCP Academy Programming
The three ACCP Academy programs – Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning – deliver required modules and electives according to preestablished course schedules.

Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum
The forum offers a series of hands-on, interactive programs to help practitioners develop and/or enhance clinical pharmacy services and the delivery of comprehensive medication management. Attendees in 2019 will also learn more about the results and deliverables of the ACCP-funded CMM Effectiveness and Implementation Grant study.

Poster Sessions and Biostatistics Premeeting Workshop
In addition to the preparatory review and recertification courses, the ACCP Academy programs, and the Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum, ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2019 will feature poster presentations and the Fundamentals of Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Design premeeting workshop. The poster presentations will be open to anyone registered for any of the three meetings associated with ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2019. The premeeting workshop will be held Friday, April 26, and will offer 5.0 hours of recertification credit in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, Critical Care Pharmacy, Pediatric Pharmacy, or Pharmacotherapy.
