The April 27–28 meeting will feature ACCP’s proven courses in Pharmacotherapy or Critical Care, ACCP Academy programming, and the Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum.

Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses

ACCP’s Critical Care Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses are designed for pharmacy professionals preparing for either the Critical Care Pharmacy or the Pharmacotherapy specialty certification examination administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), for BCCCPs or BCPSs seeking recertification through continuing education, and for pharmacists seeking a self-paced refresher of pharmacotherapeutic management and contemporary clinical practice topics. ACCP Academy Programming and the Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum

Professional development sessions delivered by ACCP Academy faculty will also be available at the April 2019 meeting. The three ACCP Academy programs – Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning – will deliver required modules and electives according to preestablished course schedules (see www.updatesintherapeutics.com).

ACCP’s 2019 Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum will offer a series of hands-on, interactive programs to help practitioners develop and enhance their delivery of comprehensive medication management. Participants will take part in a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity for clinical pharmacists seeking to implement comprehensive medication management (CMM) services. The forum provides a first-hand opportunity to use the evidence-based tools and resources produced through the ACCP-funded CMM study. Sessions are hands-on and designed to help you create a customized implementation plan that is tailored to your unique practice environment.

Poster Session and Biostatistics Premeeting Workshop

ACCP will also offer the Fundamentals of Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Design Premeeting Workshop at the April 2019 meeting. This workshop, to be held Friday, April 26, will offer 5.0 hours of recertification credit in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, Critical Care Pharmacy, Pediatric Pharmacy, or Pharmacotherapy. In addition, the meeting’s scientific poster session will occur Saturday, April 27, 5:30–7:00 p.m.
