ACCP Report - August 2018

ACCP Members: Participate in an NIH Survey on Genetics and Genomics Education

ACCP members are invited to take a national, multidisciplinary survey developed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that will evaluate primary issues in genetics and genomics education. Working at the front line of care, practitioners have a central role in seeing that genetic and genomic discoveries lead to disease prevention and population health improvements. The survey is designed to evaluate a general assessment of practitioner knowledge and identify learning needs and preferred methods of provider education. Understanding these items will help the NIH determine priorities for health care professional education. To participate, please access the survey at

The survey requires only 5-7 minutes to complete and will remain open until September 15. Questions about this project may be addressed to Kathy Calzone at or (240) 760-6178.
