Register Now for ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2017

Registration is now available for ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® 2017, to be held February 17–19, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. ACCP Updates in Therapeutics® preparatory review and recertification courses are designed for pharmacy professionals preparing for the specialty certification examinations administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), for specialists seeking recertification through continuing education, and for those seeking a self-paced refresher of pharmacotherapeutic management of specialty specific conditions and contemporary clinical practice topics. Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses
Registrants will have access to the ambulatory care pharmacy, critical care pharmacy, pediatric pharmacy, and pharmacotherapy courses and complementary resources. Note that the critical care pharmacy courses offered will be an abbreviated encore of the 2017 ACCP/SCCM Critical Care Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course to be offered at the 46th Critical Care Congress in January 2017.

Fundamentals of Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Design Workshop
Updates in Therapeutics® 2017 will feature the Fundamentals of Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Design Workshop, an in-depth, interactive precourse workshop designed to strengthen the participant’s understanding of core biostatistics and clinical trial design concepts. This workshop is approved for recertification credit in ambulatory care pharmacy, critical care pharmacy, pediatric pharmacy, and pharmacotherapy. A separate registration fee is required for the workshop.

Additional Professional Development Opportunities
Additional professional development opportunities for meeting attendees include the ACCP Academy, which will feature curricular sessions from the Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning certificate programs; and Emerge from the Crowd: How to Become a Standout Residency Candidate, a premeeting program intended for new practitioners and first-, second-, and third-year pharmacy students planning to pursue postgraduate residency training.
