ACCP Report

Help ACCP-PAC Reach $10,000 in 2017 Contributions

Thanks to the generous support of ACCP members, ACCP-Political Action Committee (PAC) raised over $9000 in 2017. Now, with just a few weeks until the close of the year, ACCP-PAC is trying to reach a goal of $10,000. Contribute to ACCP-PAC today to help reach $10,000 in contributions in 2017!

Contributions to ACCP-PAC allow the College to provide support for members of Congress and congressional candidates who are committed to a truly team-based, patient-centered approach to health care that "gets the medications right" through the provision of comprehensive medication management (CMM). These financial contributions are key to demonstrating support for ACCP's advocacy work in Washington from constituents who live and vote in elected officials' own districts and states. A well-funded PAC helps raise ACCP's profile in Washington, improves the College's standing among key lawmakers, and provides unique opportunities to discuss ACCP's legislative initiative with potential congressional champions. ACCP-PAC will also help ensure that elected officials who support the College's CMM initiative remain in office to advance the goals of the proposal in the future.

Only ACCP members are eligible to contribute to the PAC and allow ACCP to make these vital political contributions. With its almost 18,000 ACCP members, ACCP is in a position to become one of the most prominent pharmacy PACs in Washington. To do this, ACCP needs the widespread support of its membership.
