The 2020 ACCP Spring Forum will offer four meetings in one, with (1) ACCP’s nationally recognized and proven preparatory review courses in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care; (2) ACCP’s Academy programming highlighting best practices in Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning; (3) ACCP’s Clinical Practice Forum, and (4) ACCP’s popular Emerge from the Crowd programming for students.

Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care

ACCP’s preparatory review and recertification courses are designed for pharmacy professionals preparing for the specialty certification examinations administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), for specialists seeking recertification through continuing education, and for those seeking a self-paced refresher of pharmacotherapeutic management of specialty-specific conditions and contemporary clinical practice topics.

ACCP Academy Programming

The ACCP Academy offers a flexible, curricular approach to enhancing the participant’s skills and experience through one of three professional development programs: Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, or Teaching and Learning. Participants learn actionable concepts and skills that are immediately applicable to their professional pursuits.

Clinical Practice Forum

The 2020 Clinical Practice Forum will offer a series of hands-on, interactive programs to help practitioners develop and enhance their clinical pharmacy services to deliver comprehensive medication management (CMM). Attendees will get a first look at an exciting new interactive web-based platform to aid practitioners in CMM implementation and evaluation. In addition, the program will include content on developing business plans for implementing and scaling, incorporating quality metrics, and expanding CMM into the telehealth environment, among other contemporary topics. Emerge from the Crowd

Emerge from the Crowd is designed for first-, second-, and third-year pharmacy students who plan to pursue postgraduate residency training. The 2020 workshop will engage students in interactive sessions on navigating the residency application process, writing an effective letter of intent, creating a distinguished curriculum vitae, and successfully interviewing.

Biostatistics Premeeting Workshop

In addition to the preparatory review and recertification courses, the ACCP Academy programs, the Clinical Practice Forum, and the Emerge from the Crowd workshop, the 2020 ACCP Spring Forum will include the premeeting workshop Fundamentals of Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Design, to be held Friday, April 24.
