The PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency program is designed to provide a solid foundation of patient-care and the management, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases in the adult patient.

The resident will complete 10 months of clinical rotations gaining experience in acute and critical care settings as well as Antimicrobial Stewardship and Rapid Molecular Diagnostics - actively participating in the care of patients in specialty populations such as Solid Organ Transplant and Bone Marrow Transplant. Portions of the residency year will be spent working with multiple ID consult services along-side our ID Pharmacy team and completing special projects in collaboration with Pathology/Genomics/Microbiology. Elective experiences exist in critical care (medical and surgical), oncology, and off-site ID Consult/Stewardship (among others).
