Dr. Smith received a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University and then completed a Pharm.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon completing a fellowship in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics at the University of Oklahoma, he returned to Ferris State University to serve as a faculty member at the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Smith is currently a Professor, Ferris State University, and practices in pharmacokinetics in special populations, internal medicine, infectious diseases, and surgery/trauma. Dr. Smith is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and has presentations and publications in Pharmacokinetics and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Smith has served as a faculty member for the Update in Therapeutics: The Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review Course for the past 5 years.
