Application Requirements

Applications must include:

  1. Current Curriculum Vitae
  2. A personal essay of no more than 500 words describing the applicant’s interest in serving as a member-at-large or in a designated leadership role of the ACCP National Student Advisory Committee.
    Please describe why you are interested in serving on the committee, including any specific qualifications for the position you are seeking consideration. Applicants should detail their vision for the role student members of ACCP can play in the advancement of clinical pharmacy and ACCP’s core values.

    Vice-Chair (2-year term)
    Qualifications:
    • ACCP student member in good standing
    • Will be a second or third professional year student at the time of assuming position
    Responsibilities:
    • Assumes the duties of the Chair in their absence
    • Assists Chair with duties as assigned
    Secretary (1-year term)
    Qualifications:
    • ACCP student member in good standing:
    • Will be a second, third or fourth professional year student at the time of assuming position
    Responsibilities:
    • Records and maintains minutes from all committee meetings.
    • Distributes minutes and other correspondence to committee members.
    Member-at-large (1-year term)
    Qualifications:
    • ACCP student member in good standing
    • Will be a second, third or fourth professional year student at time of assuming position
    Responsibilities:
    • Attends all committee sessions
    • Assists with committee projects and initiatives to meet committee's annually assigned charges
  3. Letter of recommendation from Academic Dean or his/her designee expressing support for your participation. Please address letters of recommendation to the ACCP President-Elect, Dr. Curtis Haas. Your Dean can either give you the letter of recommendation or e-mail the letter to Jon Poynter, ACCP Membership Project Manager, at jpoynter@accp.com to add to your online application.
