Pearls

As part of the strategic planning process, the Pharmacotherapy Board of Directors considered a variety of models for the future publishing of Pharmacotherapy, which has been self-publishing since its inception. After considering proposals from various publishers, the Board of Directors chose Wiley-Blackwell, which was approved by the ACCP Board of Regents, to become the publisher of the journal starting with the January 2012 issue. This agreement is anticipated to expand the journal’s subscriber base, take advantage of Wiley-Blackwell’s considerable online presence and capabilities, and be more cost-effective.

This change in publisher will not alter the ways in which authors and reviewers interact with Pharmacotherapy's ScholarOne Manuscripts management system. After January 1, 2012, all inquiries regarding missing issues, problems with online access, and the like should be directed to the Wiley-Blackwell ACCP support contact (781) 388-8599; [email protected]). As always, we welcome any feedback on this important change.
