Emily K. McCoy, Pharm.D., BCACP

Emily K. McCoy is an associate clinical professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, for Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy and an adjunct assistant professor, Department of Internal Medicine, University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She obtained board certification in ambulatory care pharmacy in 2011. Her teaching, research, and patient care activities focus on chronic disease state management for diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, heart failure, and women’s health, specifically cardiovascular risk reduction. Recent areas of research include adherence to American Heart Association guidelines for the treatment of heart failure and the impact of pharmacist management in an interdisciplinary setting in patients with diabetes.
