Recertification Resources Available for Home Study (November 14, 2023)

Are you in need of recertification credit in pharmacotherapy, oncology*, geriatrics*, ambulatory care*, and/or critical care? If so, ACCP has several upcoming recertification credit opportunities for you to take advantage of! There are options to earn up to:

  • 12.0 hours of BCPS recertification credit
  • 6.0 hours of BCCCP recertification credit
  • 4.0 hours of BCOP recertification credit
  • 6.0 hours of BCACP recertification credit
  • 5.0 hours of BCGP recertification credit
  • 6.0 hours of BCPPS recertification credit

Clinical Reasoning Series
The following Clinical Reasoning Series home study packages will be available for purchase on November 14, 2023, at www.accp.com/store. The deadline to submit required recertification posttests for these sessions is November 14, 2024.

  • Clinical Reasoning Series Approved for Recertification Credit in Pharmacotherapy — “Part One” and “Part Two” — will be available for 6.0 hours of BCPS recertification credit.
  • Clinical Reasoning Series Approved for Recertification Credit in Critical Care Pharmacy — “Part One” and “Part Two” — will be available for 6.0 hours of BCCCP and/or BCPS recertification credit.*

The Clinical Reasoning Series in Pediatric Pharmacy home study package will be available for purchase on December 12, 2023, at www.accp.com/store. The deadline to submit the required recertification posttest for this session is December 12, 2024.

  • Clinical Reasoning Series Approved for Recertification Credit in Pediatric Pharmacy will be available for 6.0 hours of BCPPS recertification credit.

Clinical Sessions
The following Clinical Sessions home study packages will be available for purchase on February 7, 2024, at www.accp.com/store. The deadline to submit required recertification posttests for these sessions is December 17, 2024. ACCP developed these programs in collaboration with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

  • BCOP Clinical Sessions — “Emerging Therapies and Clinical Controversies in the Management of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma” will be available for 2.0 hours of BCOP recertification credit.
  • BCOP Clinical Session — “Amyloidosis: Updates and Clinical Management” will be available for 2.0 hours of BCOP recertification credit.
  • BCACP and BCGP Clinical Session — “Filtering Out the Old, and Reabsorbing the New: Updates in the Management of Chronic Kidney Disease” will be available for 1.0 hour of BCACP and/pr BCGP recertification credit.
  • BCACP and BCGP Clinical Session — “The Cholesterol Limbo: How Low Should You Go?” will be available for 1.5 hours of BCACP and/or BCGP recertification credit.
  • BCACP and BCGP Clinical Session — “Weighing In: The Risks and Benefits of Treating Obesity in Adults and Older Adults” will be available for 1.5 hours of BCACP and/or BCGP recertification credit.
  • BCACP Clinical Session — “Changing the Way Patients Access Reproductive Healthcare” will be available for 2.0 hours of BCACP recertification credit.
  • BCGP Clinical Session — “You're Losing It: Better Strategies for Addressing Unintentional Weight Loss in the Older Adult” will be available for 1.0 hour of BCGP recertification credit.

*ACCP collaborates with ASHP on ambulatory care pharmacy, geriatric pharmacy, and oncology pharmacy programming.
