You can impact the success of the Annual Meeting by using the contracted ACCP hotel to offset the sizable costs of producing the meeting. ACCP negotiates great rates for the host hotel room block but needs your help by making your reservation within the block. Here's how you and ACCP benefit when you stay at the ACCP host hotel:

• ACCP has contracted hotel rooms at discounted rates on your behalf. If contracted housing obligations are not met, ACCP must pay substantial penalty fees to the hotel. This could require ACCP to increase registration rates in the future to cover such penalties.
• ACCP is able to monitor attendance through the room block. When most attendees stay within the block it enables ACCP to be better prepared to host a successful event and helps with cost containment.
• ACCP's business value to a city is measured by the total number of sleeping rooms actually booked inside the contracted room block, as well as money spent on other services at the hotel. Booking within the block helps ACCP to maintain strong business value, which is critical to negotiations with future cities and cost-containment efforts.
• PLUS – you get complimentary wifi in your sleeping room and can still earn Marriott loyalty points/rewards.

Hotel Reservation Cutoff Date:

The cutoff date to make hotel reservations at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel is at 11:59 p.m. (CST) on  Friday, October 20, 2023 (based on availability). It is recommended that reservations be made early.

Deposit:

A deposit of 1 night’s room rate and taxes is required at the time of booking. See the cancellation policy for additional details about the deposit.

Early Departure Fee:

Once you’ve checked into the hotel and find you need to check out before the confirmed departure date, for any reason, the hotel will impose an early departure fee of 1 night’s room rate and taxes.

Cancellation Policy:

There is no penalty for early cancellation before October 20, 2023. If you cancel your reservation before this date, your deposit will be credited back. If, for any reason, the reservation is cancelled after October 20, 2023, the entire deposit will be nonrefundable.

Meditation and Prayer Room:

ACCP is providing a room for meeting attendees to use as a meditation and prayer room. This room will be open during daytime conference hours and reservations are not required. The purpose of this room is to allow people of all faiths, religions, and spirituality to have a sanctuary to retreat to during conference hours. However, it is important to note that the users of this room will be from many culturally diverse backgrounds. Take care to be aware of the religious sensitivity of others, which may be different than your own.

Nursing Mother’s Room:

ACCP is providing a room for meeting attendees wanting a more private place to nurse during daytime conference hours. Please visit the ACCP Registration Desk for more information.
