Biography

William L. Musick, Pharm.D., BCIDP

Dr. William Musick has practiced as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist at Houston Methodist Hospital (HMH) in the Texas Medical Center for the last 13 years. Over that time his practice has evolved and currently focuses on the Solid-Organ Transplant and Critically Ill populations. He developed and directs the PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency program at HMH and holds adjunct faculty appointments to the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and the University of Texas College of Pharmacy. After pharmacy school at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, Musick trained at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill for both PGY1 and PGY2 residencies. Currently, Musick’s professional interests are divided between teaching/training residents and students, and atypical infections and CMV in the solid-organ transplant population.
