Postgraduate Program Recruiter Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does the 2022 ACCP Recruitment Events differ from prior years?

A: New this year, the events will include a Residency, Fellowship, and Graduate Program Poster Showcase (Showcase) on Saturday as well as the Professional Placement Forum (PPF) which includes a table for sit-down meetings on either Sunday or Monday morning. Additionally, the sit-down meetings during the PPF will be by appointment-only. These meetings may serve as pre-interview screening meetings. During the week of October 3 you will receive a personalized link to your PPF schedule. You can provide this link to candidates with an invitation to a meeting. You can communicate with candidates in advance of the meeting or provide the scheduling QR code during the Poster Showcase (recommended).

Q: Do I have to register for the 2022 Global Conference?

Yes, all recruiters participating in the Showcase and PPF must be registered for the meeting. An unlimited number of representatives from your institution may participate in the Showcase. Up to two registered representatives (per table registration) can participate in PPF meetings.

Q: What is included with my recruitment events registration?

A: Your registration includes a designated poster board in the Residency, Fellowship, and Graduate Program Poster Showcase on Saturday, October 15 from 11:30–1pm as well as a table for scheduled meetings during a 2.5 hour slot on either Sunday or Monday morning from 8:30–11am. Additional table time can be purchased if desired. To facilitate the ease of scheduled meetings, a customized scheduling link will be provided during the week of October 3. Registration will also provide you with access to the candidate database.

Q: When is the Residency, Fellowship, and Graduate Program Poster Showcase?

A: Saturday, October 15 11:30am–1pm.

Q: What size is the poster board?

A: Each poster board is 4 feet high by 8 feet wide.

Q: When are my PPF appointment-based sit-down meetings with candidates?

A: During registration, you will select your preferred PPF timeslot(s). A basic registration will include one timeslot on either Sunday or Monday morning from 8:30–11am. You may select an additional timeslot on Monday afternoon, if desired. Your customized schedule will be created to include candidate meetings at 15-minute intervals during this timeframe.

Q: How should my institution prepare for the Poster Showcase?

A: Each registration includes an assigned poster board (4ft x 8 ft) on Saturday 11:30am–1pm. It is optional to prepare a poster. Each poster board will be labeled with the institution and program name entered during registration. If you wish, your institution can prepare a 4ft x 8 ft poster (or smaller) and plan to hang it anytime between 10:30 and 11:30 am. An unlimited number of hiring representatives from your institution can attend the Poster Showcase, as long as they are registered for the Global Conference. During the week of October 3, you will receive a link to your institution’s customized scheduling link/QR code. We encourage you to print several copies of the QR code (recommended) or include the QR code on your institution poster. This code/link should be provided to candidates as part of an invitation to meet during your assigned PPF timeslot on Sunday or Monday morning. Optionally, you may search our candidate database in advance of the meeting in order to identify candidates of interest and invite them prior to the meeting.

Q: Do I have the opportunity to meet with candidates one-on-one?

A: During your selected PPF timeslot on Sunday or Monday morning, you will have a roundtable with four chairs. Up to two hiring representatives and two candidates can meet at any one time. Your institution’s meeting schedule will include appointment slots for 2 candidates every 15 minutes.

Q: When and where will I meet with candidates?

A: You will receive your room and table assignment along with your customized schedule link/QR code during the week of October 3. A room map and numbered table stanchions will be available to allow for easy navigation of the space.
