Health inequities are preventable differences in health that are experienced by socially disadvantaged populations. Reducing health inequities is a major public health goal as identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Pharmacists are uniquely positioned as medication experts on multidisciplinary healthcare teams to help promote health equity. This event seeks to provide resources to the Health Equity PRN membership on strategies that can facilitate pharmacist-level interaction to promote health equity.
