ACCP Member Collaborates with Pharmacy and Medical Colleagues to Develop COVID-19 Protocol

ACCP member Hanine Mansour, Pharm.D., BCPS, Clinical Associate Professor at the Lebanese American University (LAU) School of Pharmacy, worked with LAU colleague Yara Mary Kuyumjian, Pharm.D., BCCCP (also an ACCP member), and critical care and infectious diseases physicians Fayez Abillama, Khalil Diab, Jacques Mokhbat and Rola Husni to develop a protocol for treatment and management of COVID-19 patients at LAU Medical Center – Rizk Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon. The protocol was implemented on March 25, 2020. Dr. Mansour and Dr. Kuyumijian also wrote a Q and A piece addressing COVID-19 treatment that was published on the LAU website and shared on social media.
