ACCP Member Appointed to American College of Rheumatology COVID Task Force

Donald Miller, Pharm.D., Professor of Pharmacy Practice at North Dakota State University School of Pharmacy, has been appointed to a coronavirus Practice and Advocacy Task Force by the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Miller is working with a subgroup that has developed rapid position papers on ethical use and distribution of rheumatology drugs like hydroxychloroquine and tocilizumab during the CoVid-19 crisis (see https://www.rheumatology.org/Announcements/COVID-19-Practice-and-Advocacy#Drug-Shortages).  He is also working with the task force on characterizing status of drug shortages affecting rheumatology to communicate with the FDA and advocate for policies on distributing drugs in short supply.
