Discovery of Immunogenomic Associations with Disease and Differential Risk Across Diverse Populations: In this project, we perform systematic investigation of the association of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles with disease, using a two-pronged approach based on the phenome-wide association study (PheWAS) in the All of Us Research Program, a large, diverse DNA biobank coupled to electronic health records. Oxytocin Sensitivity and Postpartum Hemorrhage: Testing Genetic and Epigenetic Biomarkers for Improving Maternal Morbidity: In this project, we aim to examine genetic and epigenetic variation in OXTR in relationship to clinical outcomes linked to poor uterine contractility and postpartum hemorrhage using banked and prospectively collected data in addition to measuring dose-response oxytocin stimulated uterine contractility in vitro using myography.
